These king pins are designed specifically to work with our Model T Go-Kart front axle and are manufactured to match it properly. They are made from nodular cast iron for strength and durability and are a great choice when rebuilding or repairing the front end of your Model T Go-Kart.
A Little Extra Length — On Purpose
Our king pins are made slightly longer than the original design. This is intentional.
Because there are several variations of Model T Go-Karts and other similar vintage karts, having a little extra material allows you to fit the king pin to your particular application.
In most cases, you should expect to have the king pin shortened to the required length. We recommend having this done by a qualified machine shop, preferably using an end mill, so the end is cut accurately and cleanly.
